Matthew Wetherbee, a study participant, had created the MW FUND, a foundation to assist others with spinal cord injuries. His foundation recently donated $10,000 towards Kentucky Spinal Cord Injury Research Center’s NeuroRecovery Support Fund. Matt states “Given what the epidural stimulator has done for me so far and for others participating in the research, I want everyone who is eligible to be able to take advantage of the opportunity to participate, so I don’t want relocation and housing expenses to determine anyone’s ability to take part in the research.” The Kentucky Spinal Cord Injury Research Center is Grateful to Matt and his organization for the continued support.
