ADVANCING A NEW TRAJECTORY OF OUTCOMES FOR CHILDREN WITH PARALYSIS THROUGH ACTIVITY-BASED REHABILITATION
The goal of this work is to 1) produce a pediatric-specific locomotor training (LT) system, 2) establish a database to trace key information over time to understand the course of pediatric spinal cord injury in response to LT, and 3) assess varied sensory stimuli to enhance motor facilitation used to augment activity-based treatments, including LT. This research is funded by the Helmsley Charitable Trust.
